Part Boarding Options at New Leaf Farms
If you're looking to add some quality time with horses to your schedule, this may be the option for you!
What is Part-Boarding?
Part-boarding is a partial "lease" of a horse. Times are set through the week for our part-boarders to come and work independently with the horses. This allows part-boarders the enjoyment of independent horse time without the cost and responsibility of ownership. The work may include trick training, groundwork, grooming and therapeutic activities. Some days you could dedicate to teaching a specific horse a new trick, while others you can have a quiet grooming session and a little cry if needed in the stall with the horse. Your activities are up to you!
Packages and Pricing
All packages include membership to our weekly adult groups.
Monthly Costs:
2 Visits per week: $320 +HST
3 Visits per week: $460 +HST
4 Visits per week: $600 +HST
Guided Support
All of our part-boarders are invited to up to 2 adult groups per week to learn the basics of horse handling and management. We are always working on improving the skills of our horses, so there is also a bulletin board with a list of training ideas and areas for improvement on each horse. We recognize that learning takes time, so support is always offered for any questions or new activities.
